LIT Takes the Orinda Theater Stage!

6:00 p.m.: LIT’s Teen Team

Check out these super funny teens in their premiere performance!  For the last few months, LIT’s Teen Team members have been hard at work (and by “work” we mean creating hilarious scenes filled with ludicrous characters in order to make each other laugh).  Come support these rising improvisers as they turn your suggestions into comedy gold.  The price of admission includes permission to yell something ridiculous at a bunch of kids - who are contractually obligated to run with it.

8:00 p.m.: LIT Adults

Join us for an evening of quick wit, big laughs, and unscripted fun as LIT students take the stage—with plenty of audience suggestions—in a high-energy performance at the historic Orinda Theater! This showcase is the graduation party for LIT students, who have spent months honing their instincts, sharpening their timing, and mastering the art of “making stuff up.” Come laugh with these improvisers as they create original material that has never been seen before and will (for legal reasons) probably never be seen again.

This triple-bill event will feature performances by TWO improv troupes using your suggestions to play an assortment of classic short-form games—and live beats from DJ Erik Rumors to keep the energy buzzing throughout the evening. And because laughing is thirsty work, adult beverages will be available at the Boo Loo Lounge. So grab a drink, take your seat, and enjoy a one-of-a-kind night of live comedy. There will also be popcorn.
