Description

Life rarely comes with a script, and improv is the perfect way to practice handling the unexpected with confidence. Through fun games and supportive exercises, you'll strengthen communication, active listening, teamwork, creativity, and the ability to think on your feet. Along the way, you'll develop the growth mindset that comes from taking healthy risks, embracing mistakes, and discovering that some of life's best moments come from saying "yes, and." Every class is filled with laughter while building practical skills you can use at work, in relationships, social situations, and wherever life takes you. Unlike our performance-based classes, LIT in Life is about using improv to enrich everyday life. This class does not include a final performance. Instructor Bio Jaime Rich is the Executive Director of Spontaneous Mind-an educational non-profit that utilizes the principles of improv to improve communication, collaboration and innovation. She is also the creative director of Spontaneous Mind Over Matter that performs all around the East Bay. Spontaneous Mind is the co-producer of the Diablo Improv Festival. She co-authored the book “The Power of Yes And….Communication”. She has taught all levels of improv for years across the Bay.
